Strelende musiek

Ek hou van 'n wye verskeidenheid musiek, en ek probeer om nie in 'n groef te verval wat een spesifieke musiek smaak betref nie. Ek luister Afrikaans en Engels, "Gewone musiek" en Gospel, Boeremusiek, Jazz, Rock musiek, Instrumentaal en a-capella, vioolmusiek en kitaarmusiek...en die lys gaan aan en aan...miskien sal ek eendag bietjie my "playlist" met julle deel.

Sedert ek na musiek begin luister het, was daar een musikant, en kunstenaar van wie se lirieke en musiek ek besonder baie gehou het. Miskien is dit omdat ek in besonder baie hou van kitaarmusiek. Ek speel self ook so bietjie. Net die klank van 'n suiwer akkoord is al klaar genoeg om my siel tot ruste te bring en my mee te voer. Hierdie kunstenaar is Don Franciso.
Die rede hiervoor is omdat hy instaat is om nie net melodie en akkoorde oor te dra in sy musiek nie, maar om 'n mens mee te voer met 'n storie en jou deel te maak daarvan. Ek het op 'n stadium tot 60 van sy songs op kasset en CD gehad. Die lirieke roer mens se hart en versterk jou geloof.
