Toe ek my ACS goedkeuring gekry het in Desember laasjaar kon ek nie verstaan waarom die volgende frase op my ACS goedkeurings brief verskyn het nie:
"Based on the provided certified documentation it is the opinion of the ACS that the applicant has 12 months experience in C++/C#/C"

Dit het my nogal ge-"puzzle", want ek het vir hulle gesertifiseerde bewyse gelewer dat ek ten minste 8 jaar en 4 maande ondervinding in C++ het. Maar dit blyk nou dat hulle vir alle suksesvolle MODL kandidate hierdie frase op die brief plaas, ongeag van die hoeveelheid ondervinding:

Net vir interessantheid en om julle ander ook gerus te stel. Hulle sit dus nie jou presiese jare ondervinding in as jy op die MODL lys is nie.

'n "Skilled Independent"/136 aansoeker wat op die MODL lys is word in die "priority queue" geplaas en blykbaar kry jou VISA aansoek dan voorkeur behandeling. Jy kry ook 15 ekstra punte vir die VISA.

Hoekom is hierdie vaardighede in aanvraag....wel seker omdat daar nog 'n tekort is aan mense met hierdie vaardighede. Dit beteken dus soos wat meer en meer mense met hierdie vaardighede (veral van Suid Afrika) emigreer na Australië, hoe korter gaan hierdie lys word.
Moet dus nie slaap nie...skrik wakker en doen aansoek, want soos wat die plekke gevul word gaan dit al hoe moeiliker word.
